What Do Stink Bugs Eat?
by William Campbell,
Stink Bug Expert
What to do if stink bugs are in your house...
Stink bugs lay eggs on and/or are attracted to the following types of plant/crop life:
- Tomato***
- Cotton
- Soybeans
- Mustard
- Rice
- Potted flowers
- Other fruit and sap plants/trees
- Cabbage
- Sunflowers
By avoiding or reducing the presence of these items, you can greatly reduce the likelihood of a stink bug problem in your home and on your property.
You can also take additional action by planting "companion plants", which these insects hate and will actually avoid at all costs. See my downloadable guide for a comprehensive list of these companion plants and other useful methods to defeat these pests.
